Mr. Watts received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from the Arizona State University (ASU) College of Law in 1999, where he received a scholarship based on his LSAT exam score, was a Pedrick Scholar, was recognized with Pro Bono Distinction, was co-chairman of the Environmental Law Society, and served on both the Dean Selection Committee and the Faculty Selection Committee.

Mr. Watts received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from ASU where he was a student member of SAE.
